Aminah - The Courier Mail

Strong, determined, passionate, and so down-to-earth, Aminah is the definition of #GirlBoss. She knows what she wants, and she wont stop until she achieves it, no matter what obstacles get in her way! Currently working at The Courier Mail, as well as maintaining her lifestyle and human interest blog, she has her sights set on changing the world through her inspirational and thought-provoking writing. 

What advice would you give to your 15 year old self? 
Don't restrict yourself. Try everything!

What makes you proud to be a woman?
I'm proud of abilities I possess as a woman. My ability to stand my ground and not succumb to social normality.

What has been the biggest challenge for you in your career so far? 
I think my biggest challenge this far is truly utilising my skill in the right area. I'm still yet to be within my desired position but I will continue to persevere and strive till I get there.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? 
I hope to be within my desired position in my career, as a renowned journalist (hopefully working for one the top publications in the world eg. BBC)

Who inspires you and why? 
Oprah Winfrey. I admire her resilience, work ethic and mindset and also how far she's come through in life, as I can somehow related to it.
